Assembly

Before assembling the MotionOrb™, read and follow the safety recommendations in the Safety

Notes.

Assemble the MotionOrb™ from the top down with the power off.

Rig the top bar where the MotionOrb™ will hang—for more information see Rigging

. Then

attach the standard orb strings to the top bar and the bottom orb strings to the standard

orb

strings—for more information see the Assembly Diagram.

The top bar of the MotionOrb™ has male connectors. The standard

orb strings have male

connectors on one end and female on the other end. The bottom

orb strings have female

connectors on one end and loops on the other end. The bottom

orb strings are always at the

bottom of the MotionOrb™.

The orb string connectors are 4-pin connectors with locking collars. There is a threa

ded collar

on the female connector that slides over, and twists onto, the threaded exterior of the male

connector. There are arrows on each connector so that the connectors can be aligned properly

before being screwed together.

To assemble the MotionOrb™, do the following:

1. Rig the top bar. For more information see Rigging

2. Attach each of the standard orb strings directly to the top bar using the female connector

ends of the orb strings.

3. Attach each of the bottom orb strings to the standard orb strings using the male connector of

the standard orb strings and female connector of the bottom orb strings.

4. Make sure all the connections are finger tight.

5. Turn on the power.

• Make sure the power is off before assembling the MotionOrb™.

• The bottom orb strings—the ones with the loops—are always at the bottom of the

MotionOrb™.
