DMX Operation

This is the operating mode which will allow for control with an external DMX controller. You must set the starting

address for this mode. If this is your first time using DMX, then it is recommended that you refer to the “DMX

Primer” section in the “Appendix” of this manual.

1. Press <MENU> until

512 appears on the LED screen.

2. Press <ENTER>.

3. Using <UP> and <DOWN>, select the desired DMX address (

d001~d512).

4. Press <ENTER> to confirm setting.

Master/Slave

This is the operating mode which will allow 1 fixture to act as the “master” and control all of the other “slave”

fixture(s). You must set both the master and the slave(s) fixtures to the correct mode for this operation.

Master Settings:

1. Connect the fixtures with DMX cables, as shown in the “Fixture Linking” section.

2. Use any one of the standalone modes for the master unit. This includes:

AUTO, U--, and

SND.

Slave Settings:

1. Press <MENU> until

512 appears on the LED screen.

2. Press <ENTER>.

3. Using <UP> and <DOWN>, set the DMX address to

d001.

4. Press <ENTER> to confirm setting.

It is not necessary to set the master fixture as the first fixture in the daisy chain. It may be any

fixture in the daisy chain. For example: fixture 2, 5, 10 or 12, etc.

Only 1 fixture may be set to master.

Do not connect a DMX controller to the daisy chain for this operating mode.

Standalone Operation

Automatic

This fixture has an automatic program. This is accessed via the control panel, and the speed may be

adjusted. Please see the instructions below for further explanation.

1. Press <MENU> until

AUTO appears on the LED screen.

2. Press <ENTER> to confirm setting.

Speed Adjustment:

1. Press <MENU> until

S-- appears on the LED screen.

2. Using <UP> and <DOWN>, select the desired speed, slow to fast (

s001~s100).

3. Press <ENTER> to confirm setting.

Sound-Active

This fixture has an automatic sound triggered chase. This is accessed via the control panel, and the

microphone sensitivity may be adjusted using the microphone sensitivity adjustment knob. Please see the

instructions below for further explanation.

1. Press <MENU> until

SND appears on the LED screen.

2. Press <ENTER> to confirm settings.

3. Use the microphone adjustment sensitivity knob on the back of the fixture to adjust the microphone

sensitivity.
